Stephen Metcalfe, Member of Parliament for South Basildon and East Thurrock, opened the new Great Berry Post Office last week!
The branch at Great Berry Mini Market, Great Berry Centre, Nightingales, Langdon Hills, SS16 6SA has opened as part of a modernisation and investment programme taking place across the UK Post Office network.
Stephen said“Post Office branches are relied upon by communities the length and breadth of the country. They serve a distinct social purpose and are a valuable social economic asset for our communities and businesses, forming a cornerstone of British society.
Services are available seven days a week throughout the store’s opening hours: Monday – Saturday: 8am – 6pm; Sunday: 8am – 1pm. This offers customers an impressive 65 hours of Post Office service a week.
