by Matthew Martino
Ex-TOWIE star Ricky Rayment has been making the most of his time away from film sets after the recent release of feature film Dangerous Game in which he had a role in by rescuing dogs.
We can exclusively reveal that the 26year old has been flying to Romania to go and save dying dogs in the eastern European country and raise awareness for animal welfare as part of a new documentary.
Discussing the documentary being produced by local outfit Run Around Productions Rayment told us “I have been going to Romania to film a documentary and help raise awareness on the situation of animal welfare in Romania.”
He added “We help get adoptions for orphaned dogs. We provide shelter and have recently struck a deal with the Romania Mayor to set up a new shelter.”
The project is part of charity A Better Life Dog Rescue whose mission is to rescue dogs and puppies from Romania and find loving forever homes for them in the UK.
Rayment spoke of the challenges they continue to face in the initiative telling us “We pretty much do all we can to help them. But the task is never ending and we need as much help as possible.”
