12 Oct PSST…FIRST DETAILS OF INTU #LAKESIDE’S AMAZING CHRISTMAS PLANS ARE UNVEILED
Have you heard the news? One of Santa’s elves has revealed that this year, Christmas at intu Lakeside is set to be bigger, better and more magical than ever before with an amazing crystal marquee covered ice rink and bar installed for the festive season!
After the success of last year’s Christmas Street, all the excitement is set to return to intu Lakeside with some wonderful new attractions, making it the perfect place to truly discover the magic of Christmas. One of the main attractions will be a 600m2 (nearly the size of 3 tennis courts!) ice rink which will be beautifully decorated in sparkling bright lights, featuring an on-site bar serving naughty and nice festive drinks, creating a breathtaking view for visitors, as well as passers by. Open following the annual intu Lakeside Christmas light switch on event on Saturday 12 November, the ice rink will be available to book from October and is expected to attract thousands of visitors to the centre. The popular Christmas German market will also return with even more stalls than last year featuring rides, festive food and drink and much more.
The development of this year’s Christmas Village is part of intu Lakeside’s multi-million pound leisure development which will take place across the next couple of years and will include a Nickelodeon themed family attraction, a Travelodge hotel and lots, lots more.
