07 Jun Pregnant horse trapped in a Tilbury ditch rescued
Firefighters yesterday helped to release a pregnant horse which had become trapped in a Tilbury ditch.
The incident happened at about 9.30am in Fort Road.
It resulted in the distressed animal being rescued by three fire crews, plus a vet, by 12.30pm.
Orsett, Great Baddow and South Woodham Ferrers firefighters attended the rescue.
