20 Feb Modern Mexican restaurant treats guests with Leap Year birthdays to a free three course meal
To mark 2020 being a Leap Year, acclaimed modern Mexican restaurant, Ella Canta, is delighted to welcome all those who have gone four years without a real birthday to Ella Canta for a complimentary three course dinner and welcome cocktail, on 29th February.
Every four years, February 29th (a leap day), is added to our year to keep our calendar in alignment with the Earth’s revolutions around the Sun. For the first time since 1992, Leap Day falls on a Saturday and Ella Canta will mark the special occasion by taking guests a culinary journey through Mexico, where they can taste iconic Ella Canta dishes, such as the Magret de Pato, which is a careful balance of duck, fried plantain and black mole sauce.
After four years without a proper birthday, these distinctive diners will be able to redeem their complimentary meal and cocktail by showing their ID to a member of the Ella Canta team when they arrive, for brunch or dinner.
The Leap Year Day Birthday Special will be available to reclaim at Ella Canta exclusively on 29th February for both brunch or dinner service and must show valid identification. Offer includes one complimentary meal and cocktail per person. Offer available when dining with one other guest or more.
