12 May Lakeside’s hi-tech half term activities expected to be a hit
Children in Essex can enjoy a week of robot-building fun during a hi-tech half term of daily activities at intu Lakeside.The free events will also include the chance to take part in a race to make a robot, robotic dance lessons and even the chance to help decorate a giant 15 foot robot created from cardboard and recycled materials.
intu’s nationwide “Shopperview” panel, made up of customers of its 14 centres up and down the country, selected the robot-inspired theme for half term week after they were polled on the activities they’d most like their children to take part in during the school holidays.
Ben Leeson, Marketing Manager at intu Lakeside said: “We’re excited to be bringing families a fun-packed week of free events and activities that will help them make the most of a visit to intu Lakeside over the school holidays.
Activities take place at intu Lakeside from 29th May to 4th June. They are free for all the family and open to all ages.
