National Wetnose Day is an annual event to raise funds and awareness for all animals in UK Rescue Centres, We all know Red Nose Day was created for people ……well Wetnose Day is for all animals!
This year’s event has already gained momentum pulling support from Sir Paul McCartney, Ricky Gervais and Amanda Holden to name but a few.
It is ironic that whilst some 48% of UK households have a pet of some sort, NO national fund raising initiative has ever been developed. Wetnose Animal Aid is correcting that by creating the Wetnose Day event every September.
The funds raised over the last 17 years at Wetnose HQ have helped provide financial support to other projects including helping Campaigns to save hundreds of animals in severe conditions around the world.
