14 Nov Get your tech on! Digital workshops at #Chelmsford Library
Engineers of the future are being invited to a digital workshop being held at Chelmsford Library.
Run in partnership with the University of Westminster and Makercart, a pop up project promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), the workshop will offer the opportunity to design and create a prototype using digital tools.
Through the workshops, participants will learn about 3D printing, and well as gaining basic skills around using digital tools and electronic.
Cllr Anne Brown, Essex County Council Cabinet Member responsible for Libraries, said: “This is the second of these events we have held, and we hope it will build on the success of our first event.
“Libraries are places to inspire creativity and to build the skills needed to work with today’s digital technology, whether in the workplace or the home.”
The free workshop is open to over 16s and will take place on Saturday 19 November from 11am-1pm.
