01 May Gemma Garrett appointed National Director of EssexTV Awards
Former Miss Great Britain Gemma Garrett has been appointed the National Director of the EssexTV Awards.
In their inaugural year the awards were set up to reward and celebrate talent, businesses and charities from Essex and beyond. Gemma’s role is set to include the expansion of the awards next year which will see nominations open to the rest of the UK.
Speaking following her appointment Garrett said “I am extremely honoured and excited to be taking on this pretegious yet challenging role.
“I am looking forward to working alongside the team at Essex TV and contributing to the first ever EssexTV awards.
Essex is one of my favorite places to go and there are a lot of inspirational people and talent from there. The amount of nominations so far is incredible.”
