20 Feb Channels to Take Part in Chelmsford’s First Ever Restaurant Festival
Katie Squire and her team at Channels Bar & Brasserie are excited to announce their participation in the Chelmsford Restaurant Festival – a brand new event curated by Chelmsford City Councils’ award winning Events & Engagement Team.
The festival, which takes from 1 – 10 March 2018, will be held in numerous restaurants throughout Chelmsford city centre and surrounding areas.
Channels, which is located on the outskirts of the charming village of Little Waltham, is only a 10-minute drive from the centre of Chelmsford. In the past six months, The Bar & Brassiere has undergone a huge transformation from a golf clubhouse into a thriving restaurant earning an enviable reputation as one of the county’s finest destination restaurants.
Zoe Strong, Channels In-House Manager says: “It’s fabulous that an event has been created with the specific aim of supporting Chelmsford’s ever-growing food and drink scene. It will help to promote the diverse range of restaurants and food available in the area.”
Every participating restaurant will create an exclusive menu, which will be available for the duration of the festival. The menus will be a set price with either a two or a three course option. Running alongside the festival menus, a mix of talks, cooking demos and eating challenges will take place during the festival period. Channels will be hosting a special ‘Mother-in-Law Brunch’ on the 10th March.
