Celebrities are urging ‘fashionistas’, ‘hoarders’ and ‘wear-it-once offenders’ to spring clean their wardrobes and donate any pre-loved or unworn clothes to Barnardo’s.
Barnardo’s newest ambassadors Rebekah Vardy, star of ITV’s ‘I’m a celebrity…get me out of here’ and Billie Faiers, star of ITVBe’s TOWIE and The Mummy Diaries, join BBC Radio 1’s Adele Roberts to encourage a giant clear out in aid of the UK’s leading children’s charity.
Before delving into their wardrobes on the hunt for items to donate, the celebrity trio took part in a special Barnardo’s quiz to find out what kind of personality they are when it comes to fashion.
They had fun learning whether they were ‘hoarders’, ‘fashionistas’ or ‘wear-it-once offenders’ and it reminded them how their pre-loved items can help to support the UK’s most vulnerable children and young people.
With Britons hoarding enough items of clothing to comfortably stretch to the moon if placed end to end, they are hoping people will follow their lead by taking the quiz and getting involved with the charity’s annual spring clean donation campaign.
