05 Oct @bdadyslexia: #Chelmsford Library to mark Dyslexia Awareness Week
Chelmsford Library will be lending their support to this week’s national Dyslexia Awareness Week.
To mark the week the library, based in County Hall, will be hosting a special drop-in event on Friday 7 October.
The event running from 12pm to 4pm will see representatives from dyslexia charities on hand to provide advice and support.
There will be stalls and displays of dyslexia friendly books, audio and graphic novels.
Cllr Anne Brown, Cabinet Member with responsibility for libraries at Essex County Council said: “Raising awareness of dyslexia is very important. A love of books and learning should be open to everyone, and I am very proud of the work our libraries do to make reading accessible to all.
“Dyslexia Awareness Week is a great opportunity to find out more about how our library service can support you, your friends, and your family with learning difficulties.”
