19 Jul Thurrock libraries gear up for busy summer schedule
Libraries across the borough are hosting the Roald Dahl themed Big Friendly Read Summer Reading Challenge from today 16 July.
The challenge is aimed at children of all ages, encouraging them to read six books over six weeks to collect Roald Dahl cards, medals and certificates.
Pre-school children can also take part (with their parents help) to collect stickers and receive a hanging mobile and a certificate.
