19 Jul Garrison Gym former site to house new tenant
Colchester Borough Council will be looking for a new tenant for the former Garrison Gym, set to become a Community Centre, after the withdrawal of the preferred tenant.
The move follows notification by Abbeyfield Community Church on 12 July 2016 not to proceed with signing the lease to run the new Community Centre in Shrub End.
The Church still wishes to reach out to the community in the area but at their recent AGM meeting decided they were not able to commit to running a Community Centre.
