School of Coding & AI – the UK’s largest coding and computer science educator – has scooped two further awards in a very successful 12 months.

The Wolverhampton-based school won the Community Impact award in The West Midlands Business of the Year Awards.

Its founder, Manny Athwal, has also been named Cyber Diversity Entrepreneur Champion in the University of Wolverhampton’s Cyber Diversity Awards.

School of Coding beat off competition from GMS Group of Companies, One Black Bear and The Wigley Group to come out on top in its category in The West Midlands Business of the Year Awards.

It was also shortlisted in the Family Business and Fast Growth Business categories.

Meanwhile, in the Cyber Diversity Awards, the company also came runner-up in the Best Cyber Project for Diversity Award category.

It comes on the back of a very successful 12 months for the company which saw Manny be presented with the prestigious Innovation Award at the Institute of Directors Annual Awards ceremony and was named in The Times LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders 2023.

Working in partnership with three major universities and over 100 primary and secondary schools in the UK, School of Coding & AI delivers coding workshops, and lessons in and out of school to engage, inspire and create tech leaders of tomorrow from a young age.

Coupled with its Digital Shropshire initiative, bringing free courses to adults over 16 for both Essential Digital Skills and Communication & Life skills, it is committed to engaging an entire generation.
