26 May Young people from Essex can try outdoor experiences this holiday

Essex Outdoors’ award winning, action-packed School Holiday Activity Days are the ideal way for young people aged 8-16 to try exciting new outdoor experiences during the May half term, 31 May to 3 June 2016.
The activity days, which cost £30 per are running at all four Essex Outdoors centres (Bradwell, Danbury, Harlow and Mersea) where young people will work in groups of up to ten and have the opportunity to take part in four fun, safe and challenging activities ranging from archery, canoeing and climbing to high ropes, mountain biking and zip wire.
Essex County Council Cabinet Member for Finance with responsibility for Traded Services Cllr John Spence said: “Essex Outdoors Activity Days offer an opportunity for children to challenge themselves in the great outdoors and experience adventurous activities under the careful supervision of our instructors.”
All technical equipment is provided – participants just need to bring comfortable (and waterproof!) clothing and footwear as well as a packed lunch and a drink. Participants are supervised throughout the day by professional, qualified instructors giving parents peace of mind and children a great high quality adventurous outdoor learning experience. The available activities vary at each outdoor centre so to make sure your favourite is included check on line first.
Experts at delivering outdoor education and adventure for more than 40 years, School Holiday Activity Days at Essex Outdoors are a popular choice for parents and children alike.
