Airline cabin crew swap uniforms for Eurovision outfits to welcome fans onboard flights

10 May Airline cabin crew swap uniforms for Eurovision outfits to welcome fans onboard flights

easyJet cabin crew have swapped their uniforms for iconic Eurovision outfits as the airline prepares to welcome fans flying in and out of the UK.

Crew from easyJet’s Liverpool base have embraced some of the most outlandish looks from memorable performances, including ABBA lead singer Agnetha Fältskog’s famous glitzy blue satin and suede jumpsuit, complete with knee-high silver platform boots.

The airline is a national sponsor of the competition, which will be hosted in the UK on behalf of last year’s winners Ukraine.

Crew member Tayler embraced Ireland’s Jedward, who wore a futuristic holographic all-in-one outfit in 2012, whilst Amanda channelled Ukraine’s Ruslana who sported a quirky leather and fur costume.

Ruslana won the 2004 contest with her song Wild Dances which scored 280 points, which at the time was a record-breaking result.

Cabin staff Chloe and Phillip recreated Buck Fizz’s primary colours outfit, complete with the infamous skirt rip moment. The British group won the 1981 contest with the song ‘Making Your Mind Up’.

The crew’s outfits were chosen following a poll of 2.,000 Brits aged 18 – 65 to reveal the most memorable Eurovision fashion styles of all time.
