06 May Young Essex actor stars in #horror film
A young actor from Essex, Michael Howard of Feering, Colchester, is one of the stars of a new independent British horror film, Once Upon a Haunting, just released on DVD and Blu-ray.
Michael, who took a screen acting course with the Kingdom School of Arts and studied acting with Sandra Singer Associates in Southend, plays one of four young people who find their night spent in a restored period house interrupted by a ghost with revenge on its mind.
Produced by Martello Films of Sudbury, Suffolk, Once Upon a Haunting was shot last summer with a cast of unknown actors from Essex and Suffolk. Michael Munn, who runs Martello Films, saw Michael’s profile on the Starnow casting website.
Michael Howard also appears in another Martello production which has just completed filming, The Haunting of Maria Marten, which will be released in the autumn.
