16 Aug @WstonesLside OFFERS A SUMMER OF FREE LEARNING AT #LAKESIDE STORE
This summer, Waterstones at intu Lakeside will be offering free writing workshops every Thursday between 2pm-3pm. The exciting themes include the Fantastic Mr Fox and the Wimpy Kid, so there’s a workshop for everybody to enjoy.
intu Lakeside’s Waterstones store has teamed up with Explore Learning to introduce the variety of weekly workshops until Thursday 2 September. The workshops will take place in the café at Waterstones in the centre.
All workshops are free and suitable for all ages. It is likely that these events will be popular so it is advised that all customers interested in attending call the store to register their interest and ensure that they secure a place.
The workshop schedule* is as follows:
- 11 August: Space Mission
- 18 August: Fantastic Mr Fox
- 25 August: Creative Writing
- 2 September: Wimpy Kid

In addition to this, throughout the school holidays discover a super summer of fun as DC Comics heads to intu Lakeside. Maybe you’ve already seen Batman and Wonder Women at the centre and keep your eyes peeled for Superman who will be visiting the centre on Sunday 21 August to embark on a mission to save intu Lakeside from the evil villains.
