Young stars of the future are being given the chance to share their skills with Colchester as part of an incredible new talent show.
Colchester Has Talent provides a golden opportunity to showcase your amazing ability in front of a live audience, with the winner being given the honour of performing as part of the city’s Christmas Lights Celebration later this year.
The competition welcomes singers, dancers, musicians, sport stars or anyone who possesses a special talent audiences would love to see.
Due to an unprecedented level of participants, Colchester Has Talent will now take place over the full weekend of September 28th and 29th, with a Qualifying Round on Saturday followed by a Grand Final on Sunday. Both events run from noon until 3pm.
Open to performers aged between 10 and 16, Colchester Has Talent will take place at the Vacay Bar in Colchester’s Lion Walk Shopping Centre.
Performances can be by single artists or duets only and each act must be no more than 2 minutes. Participation is completely free and acts must register at www.colchesterhastalent.com by September 19th, 2024.
Audiences can expect to see a fabulous array of singing, dancing, instrumental music, magic, comedy and other talents, with overall winner selected by expert judges and a special Audience Choice Award.
