Pupils at Lift Westerings and Lift Ashingdon have achieved outstanding results in their end of primary assessments.
The two Lift Schools in the Rochford District have performed significantly above the national average in reading, writing and maths, with both schools achieving results well above the national figure of 63% of pupils meeting the expected standard.
At Lift Westerings, 91% of pupils met the expected standard overall. A total of 93% of pupils met the expected standard in reading, writing and maths.
At Lift Ashingdon, 90% of pupils met the expected standard overall. In reading and maths, 93% of pupils met the expected standard.
The results follow year 6 pupils completing their SATs (Standard Assessment Tests) in reading, writing and maths, which measure children’s attainment before they move on to secondary school.
