19 Sep West & Coe Funeral Directors Raise Funds to Help 15 Essex Charities
On Wednesday 18 September 2019, the Team from West and Coe Funeral Directors based in Essex presented 15 charities with a cheque donation each, representing a share of the £22,000 that they raised at their Golf Day in July. Representatives from each charity attended an Afternoon Tea presentation at The Whitmore Arms in Orsett, Essex where attendees heard a little about the fantastic work that each charity does in the community.
The chosen charities that received donations this year were: St. Luke’s Hospice – Basildon, Changing Pathways – Essex, Thurrock Scouts Play Scheme, CHAPS (The Men’s Health Charity), Gold Geese Charity previously Hattie’s Heroes, Chafford Hundred Community First Responders, Pitsea Day Centre, BOSP – Brighter Opportunities for Special People, The Indee Rose Trust, The Dream Factory, Little Havens (Havens Hospices), Papworth Trust – Essex, Whitmore Park, White Ribbon (in Memory of Grace Millane) and The Royal British Legion.
