14 Nov Water arch salute and cake to celebrate new Adria Airways from Southend Airport
There was a Water Arch Salute from the Fire Service and cake for all passengers at London Southend Airport yesterday (13 November 2018) to celebrate the Adria Airways route to Paderborn.
There was also a chance to ‘Taste Paderborn’ in the Departures Lounge with Paderborner Pilsener German Beer, House of Westphalia Organic Pumpernickel and Smoked German Cheese for people to sample, along with an impressive Black Forest Gateaux decorated with details about the new route.
Glyn Jones, CEO of London Southend Airport, says “It’s great to welcome a new airline and another route to London Southend Airport.”
Passengers can now fly three times per week to historic Paderborn-Lippstadt in Germany.
