Leading security services provider, VIP Security Services (Essex) Ltd, has been awarded the runner-up spot at the prestigious Essex Business Excellence Awards.
The company, which is celebrating 30 years in business, was shortlisted for best Professional Service company in Essex, thanks to VIP’s exceptional range of security services. The Wickford-based company works alongside numerous councils, housing associations, licensed premises, events, weddings and VIPs to deliver bespoke security services to support their needs.

VIP Security Services offers a full range of security services and was founded by Darren Hyde in 1989. The company now employs over 100 people and has secured major contracts with clients across the south East of England. Recently VIP Security Services were awarded the highest status in the UK from the government’s rigorous Security Industry Authority (SIA) Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS). The Approved Status means that VIP Security Services operate at the highest levels within the private security industry.
VIP Security Services received their ‘runner-up’ trophy at the Essex Business Excellence at the Five Lakes Resort, Essex on Thursday 26th September 2019.
