22 Mar Undefeated Cruiserweight Richard Riakporhe to face off Adam Williams at the O2 Arena
Unbeaten cruiserweight Richard Riakporhe is set to fight Adam Williams on the undercard of Dillian Whyte’s vs Lucas Browne WBC silver heavyweight title defence at the 02 Arena in London.
6ft 5ins tall Richard Riakporhe, a heavy hitter with an undefeated record of 5 wins and 4 KO’s aims for his 6 undefeated win on the 24th March.
It’s a great introduction for Riakporhe to Matchroom and sky sports viewers who will get to know and experience why this powerhouse is hot property.
Still early in his professional journey, this experience will be a great indicator of what’s to come.
The rumour mill went into overdrive deeming Riakporhe to be amongst one of the most feared rising boxing stars at the end of last year when a number of confirmed opponents dropped out, amongst them former Olympian Okoli.
Outspoken Riakporhe mused: “I didn’t get told why, but I believe I was too much of a risk to take. It would’ve messed up the opportunity to make money from the Chamberlain-Okolie fight.”
Riakporhe enjoys backing from top heavyweight Anthony Joshua & regular sparing partner Dillian Whyte (who Richard often spars coming from the same gym and who will be headlining the night).
Another exciting clash is set on the same card with light heavyweight British champion Frank Buglioni Vs Callum Johnson and more.
