Melanie Jones, the current Chair of UK Power 100 has this week unveiled what she called “ambitious and exciting plans” for the company that publishes a series of a power lists across the UK.

Jones who took office in December 2018 has overseen the introduction of new lists Britflix Power 100, Manchester Power 100 which joined Essex Power 100, London Power 100 and Brighton Power 100 as part of the group’s brands.

In a candid sit-down today, Jones told us “2019 has been a hugely turbulent year for our power list brands and yet we have still managed to roll out two new lists – the reception across the regions and niche’s we are currently covering has been phenomenal.”

Opening up about the group’s forward strategy Jones told us: “We are now looking to expand to numerous regions and sectors to complete our current offering – whats on the cards for the next year is a Midlands power list, a Yorkshire power list, a Fashion power list, an Adult entertainment power list and a BAME power list.”

The new proposed lists would mean UKPower100 would now be publishing 10 lists a year.
