01 Jan UB40 HEAD TO CHELMSFORD CITY RACECOURSE THIS SUMMER
On the 12th of August Chelmsford City Racecourse will play hosts to UB40 – featuring original members Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue – who will be bringing their inimitable blend of reggae and pop greatest hits to the stage.
The famous band will take to the stage on what promises to be a balmy summer evening. The UB40 Grandslam Tour will run from 20 May until 12 August and will see the band perform at some of the greatest and most prestigious outdoor venues in the UK, culminating with the performance at Chelmsford City on 12 August.
Ali Campbell of UB40 said, “We cannot wait to perform for all our fans at Chelmsford next summer, to perform all the favourites that our fans love. This is going to be a brilliant experience for both us and the fans.”
