18 Nov TYREL ROSS RELEASES EPIC MUSIC VIDEO FOR HIS SINGLE ‘HOLIDAY’

Tyrel Anthony Ross is a singer who began his entertainment career at the age of thirteen. Always a lover of music, he joined his high school music band where he got his first taste of performing live on stage. He has been drawn to the stage ever since. He has had professional voice training with Chris Tambu Herbert.

In 2018 he decided to step out of his comfort zone and took a bold step towards becoming a first-class entertainer, recording his first Soca single “Love Your Waist” in January of 2019. With bravado, he auditioned for the Trinidad and Tobago I-Shine 2019 Competition where he learned a lot about stage presence. “Love Your Waist” was written and produced by Kernall Roberts and released on the Milli Entertainment label out of Trinidad and Tobago.

Tyrel is often compared to John Legend; an Artiste that he says is one of his many influences, including Chronixx, Ed Sheeran and Kes Dieffenthaller. The handsome Leo is known for his engaging stage presence and leaves no stones unturned when he holds a microphone in his hand, making him a true crowd-pleaser. He honed his performance skills under the tutelage of Wendell Manwarren. When he is not recording or performing he likes to unwind by playing table or lawn tennis, football (soccer) or even hiking.

Tyrel loves all genres of music. In April 2019, he released a song titled “Finally”, in collaboration with Jamaican Reggae Star Legend,Glen Washington. The love song is a favorite with the ladies. “Finally” was written by Glen Washington, produced by Cliff Manswell, mixed and mastered by Earl Brown and executive produced and released on Milli Entertainment label. Tyrel’s most recent work is a pop song titled “Holiday”. With infectious music, this up-beat song was conceptualized by Junior Mills and written by Jenna Nation of Canada. It was produced by Dan Borgers, also of Canada. “Holiday” is to be released on Milli Entertainment label. Tyrel and his team are currently in studio preparing his second pop song.

Tyrel is now honing his song writing skills as he continues his journey to becoming an international first-class entertainer.

We had a chat with him!

Thanks for coming through TYREL. First things first, how would you describe your sound?
I would describe my sound as upbeat and refreshing.

And of course you have a new project  ‘HOLIDAY’ . Tell us about that and the process involved in creating it?
In creating the song we focused on happiness. Everyone can relate to the joyous feeling that comes upon us when a vacation time comes around, no matter how short. As the chorus says “Live my Life Like It’s A Holiday” and the video depicts just that – evoking celebration, enjoyment and positive emotions.

What are some of the themes and concepts you included on this project?
Some of the themes and concepts included in this project are: vacationing, happiness, having fun with family and friends, laughter, dancing, singing and celebrations.

The song has since garnered quite a good reception. What has the reception to ‘‘HOLIDAY’ been like on your end?
 Only joy, positive encouragement and support. A lot of comments have been received on the anticipation of future releases.

Any particular bands or artists you took inspiration from?
My inspiration came from artiste like John Legend, Ed Sheeran, Chronixx and Kes Dieffenthaller

What are your hopes for the new single ‘HOLIDAY’?
Honestly, I’d love the song to bring moments of happiness to everyone that hears it. I hope it goes global, as it encourages listeners to do exactly what the lyrics says: – enjoy life and live it like it’s a holiday.

What can you tell us about your plans for the rest of 2019?
This single is just the beginning. The work continues as I am currently in the studio preparing more music.  

What message do you have for your fans out there?.
I would like to thank my fans so very much for their love and support. I would want them to always remember that life is a journey and not a destination so celebrate life and Live Your Life Like It’s A Holiday! Also to look out for more of my fun loving music.
