07 Dec TV stars take to the phones for Essex charity
Haven House Children’s Hospice’s celebrity supporters took part in the excitement and fun of the annual ICAP Charity Day on Tuesday 5 December.
ICAP, a leading financial markets operator based in the City, gave away all its revenues and commissions to several charities, including Haven House in Woodford Green.
SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton was the first to arrive in the morning for Haven House and was keen to try the charity’s dart board which proved to be a popular hit with celebrities.
Ant then mingled with ICAP staff who were in fancy dress before making several trades on the phones.
In the afternoon, Haven House Patron Ben Shephard and Ambassador Rochelle Humes lead their Ninja Warrior co-host and colleague Chris Kamara through the trading floor.
The trio were joined by Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway, Loose Women’s Saira Khan and This Morning’s Dr Ranj Singh.
Haven House will use the funds from ICAP for its bereavement support service which provides specialist bereavement and emotional support to families who use the hospice, and to the families of children who have died at home or in hospital.
