18 Mar TOWIE Star could get axed over fraudulent company

A star of ITVBe’s The Only Way Is Essex is facing calls to be axed from the hit reality TV show after The Sun broke a story of their involvement in a fraudulent investment company.
He proved to be not as much of a diamond geezer as advised after it was revealed that Towie star Dan Edgar’s fraudulent company scammed customers out nearly £500k in part of a perfectly co-ordinated sham of an investment scheme.
The 26-year-old Towie star’s company had conned customers out of over £450,000 by selling them dodgy coloured diamonds through his company Reco Commodities, his involvement in the company was only made public after he was disqualified as a company director for 15years.
One Twitter user tweeted “So #Towie star Dan Edgar’s fraudulent company scammed customers out of £500k ?! Show should let him go”
Further reports added that an investigator visiting their business premises was met with “a room full of screaming eighteen year olds… like a boiler room.”
Edgar has been a very active member of the 20th series of Towie as his most recent antics included sharing a kiss with the show’s newbie, Amber Turner.
