Torque Events are delighted to have been awarded the Bronze Award from the Defence Employer Recognition scheme (ERS). The ERS encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same. The scheme encompasses bronze, silver, and gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives.

Forged by Directors Benn Laidler MBE and Steve Shaw MA, FCILT, CMCIPD, who are both ex-serving members of HM Forces, the team have been driving the most scenic parts of Europe since 2012, through the legendary Rally for Heroes events raising much needed funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. Benn and Steve are both fully certified petrol heads with a passion for anything with wheels and to top it off, a thirst for adventure.
