31 Jan TIM HORTONS ANNOUNCES OPENING DATE FOR BRAINTREE DRIVE-THRU RESTAURANT
Iconic Canadian restaurant, Tim Hortons® has today confirmed it will open the doors to its drive-thru restaurant in Galleys Corner, Braintree on 15th February. Marking its third opening in Essex within a year, fans and first-timers will be able to get its famous coffee, freshly baked donuts, and delicious meals even closer to home, following its official opening at 7am on Tuesday.
In usual Tim Hortons style, the brand will award free drinks for a whole 365 days* (a prize worth a staggering £3,100) to the very first person in both the drive-thru and restaurant queue. Those that miss out on top prize will still be in with a shot to take away a freebie with a free breakfast meal** awarded to the first 100 customers.
Tim Hortons will also run a series of giveaways including free drinks and donuts for those who activate their Tim Hortons’ digital wallet. Guests will simply need to scan the QR code found at the restaurant or by visiting here via their mobile to activate the rewards wallet.
Famed for its Canadian charm, the new Tim Hortons restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 6am till midnight, seven days a week. The menu will feature best-selling items, including Timbits®, Iced Capps, Freshly Baked Donuts and Tims® Crispy Chicken Sandwich, as well as beef burgers, hot dogs, and lattice fries. The brand also confirmed that its well-loved breakfast menu with its Bagels and Breakfast Wraps, are also here to stay.
Kevin Hydes, Chief Commercial Officer of the Tim Hortons® franchise in the U.K, commented on the opening: “We have been inundated on social media with requests to confirm when we will be opening our doors in Braintree, so I know announcing this news today will put a smile on many faces. Our two previous openings in Essex exceeded our expectations, broke records and we know there is quite the demand to open in Galleys Corner.”
