09 Jul Thurrock’s Village Indiya has been named Runner up in the Tiffin Cup
The Village Indiya from Thurrock has been named Runner Up in the prestigious Tiffin Cup competition.
Village Indiya received a certificate and embroidered Tiffin Cup 2019 apron to mark their achievement in this year’s competition on Tuesday 2nd July 2019 at the Grand Final cook-off in the House of Commons.
The Village Indiya was nominated by name Jackie Doyle-Price MP.
Keith Vaz MP, the co-chair of the Tiffin Cup said,
“We are delighted that Village Indiya has been name Runner-up in the Tiffin Cup 2019. This is a great tribute not just to the nomination of Jackie Doyle-Price MP but also to the constituency of Thurrock as a whole.”
Jackie Doyle Price MP said,
“We are very fortunate in Thurrock to have a large choice of excellent South Indian restaurants to choose from. The food and ambience at Village Indiya is always fabulous and I am delighted that the judges have recognised this. Congratulations to all the staff.”
