The Magic Mushroom Restaurant in Billericay, Essex is proud to announce that it has been awarded two AA Rosettes, a nationally recognised mark of culinary excellence that celebrates outstanding food quality, creativity, and consistency.
The AA Rosette scheme is one of the UK’s most respected hospitality accolades, with two Rosettes indicating restaurants that achieve notable standards, demonstrating precision in cooking, carefully selected ingredients, and a strong level of technical skill in the kitchen.
Led by Restauranteur Darren Bennett, The Magic Mushroom has built a reputation for delivering an exceptional dining experience that blends innovation with refined technique. Next month, Darren will be celebrating 30 years since he opened The Magic Mushroom, which is quite an achievement. Darren is immensely proud of the fact that after 30 years The Magic Mushroom is still the success it is and is always changing and evolving with times and trends. As well as being busy with restaurant reservations, the private dining room and back restaurant are booked months in advance for anything from private celebrations to business meetings and weddings. Next month, will also see the opening of an additional private dining room and bar area at the restaurant.
