06 Dec The Cambridge Satchel Co. Announces Matilda Collaboration with The Roald Dahl Company
This month, British heritage brand The Cambridge Satchel Co., known for reviving the traditional school satchel as a bag for all, announces its Matilda collaboration with The Roald Dahl Story Company. The partnership combines The Cambridge Satchel Co.’s school bag roots and the magic and wonder of the Matilda story.
Launching on 5 December 2022, the collaboration will feature the sale of a variety of much-loved products by The Cambridge Satchel Co., embossed with designs by renowned illustrator Quentin Blake and quotes from Roald Dahl’s ‘Matilda’. From satchel-inspired backpacks to leather notebooks, each piece will include special Matilda references, and will feature both The Cambridge Satchel Co. and the Matilda logos.
In six core and limited edition The Cambridge Satchel Co. colours, the products will be available in all stores, including the brand’s new three-month Covent Garden pop-up.
Alongside the collaboration, several of The Cambridge Satchel Co. 14 Inch Batchel Backpacks can be seen in ‘Roald Dahl’s Matilda: The Musical’, which launched on 25 November 2022 in cinemas in the UK and Ireland and will be available on Netflix in the rest of the world from 25 December 2022.
This ongoing partnership will be promoted via the brand’s social channels, as well as via their online Journal, which will feature a review of the film and further information about the products on offer.
The products will be sold at prices varying from £15 – £245 and will be available to purchase both in stores and online at www.cambridgesatchel.com.
