16 Jun Taylor Wimpey lends a hand and donates to a Tendring Foodbank
Taylor Wimpey has donated £500 and offered hands-on support to Walton and District Community Food Bank in Tendring, helping provide essential food and supplies to individuals and families in need across the local area.
The food bank, which operates with the help of volunteers and community partners, offers food parcels, fuel vouchers, food vouchers and benefits advice to the local community.
Taylor Wimpey’s £500 donation will go directly towards funding emergency food parcels and restocking supplies of toiletries, household essentials, and baby items.
Michael O’Leary, Regional Operations and Sales Director at Taylor Wimpey London, said:
“We’re proud to support the communities in which we build, and Walton and District Community Foodbank plays a vital role in supporting local families during difficult times. We are committed to continuing our support for organisations like this that make a real difference.”
Jill Joshua, Secretary at the Walton and District Foodbank, said: “Our services are vital in the battle to combat food poverty in our local area. The Foodbank can not operate without the support of individuals and companies such as Taylor Wimpey who provide us with financial or food donations. We are very grateful.”
