21 Nov Taylor Wimpey launches new development in Great Bentley
Taylor Wimpey will launch a sustainable new development of 136 high-quality homes in Great Bentley, Colchester this month.
Hartford Green, on Weeley Road, will offer customers a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, set amongst large areas of green space that echo Great Bentley’s famous village green. The development will launch on Saturday 26th November and customers can now book an appointment for the opening weekend.
The homes at Hartford Green will include a range of sustainable features designed to minimise environmental impact and save money on energy bills, such as individual solar panels on each property and the infrastructure for electric vehicle charging on, or close to, each plot.
Modern materials and fittings mean that buyers will save on average around £2,600 per year in energy bills compared to a second-hand home*.
Hartford Green has been designed to fit within its surroundings, taking design cues from the local area and providing foot and cycle links through the development and to the wider community.
Alex Greaves, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey London, said: “Great Bentley is a thriving village community, giving that great mix of a rural lifestyle and excellent links to Colchester and beyond.
“It will also be built with sustainability in mind, and we’re pleased to be including solar panels as standard on each home.
“We’ve already had plenty of interest and we have a number of bookings for the launch weekend already. I’d urge people to book an appointment right away to secure their home.”
