27 Jan Taylor Wimpey invites Wivenhoe residents to have their say on new development plans
Taylor Wimpey will launch an online consultation on proposals for a new development in Wivenhoe on Monday 1st February.
The site off Richard Avenue is allocated for residential development of a minimum of 120 homes in the Wivenhoe Neighbourhood Plan, which was approved in a referendum held on 2nd May 2019. Taylor Wimpey’s application will deliver the objectives set out within the neighbourhood plan document.
The proposed development will have a mix of high quality homes, 20% of which will be affordable in line with the neighbourhood plan. The new development will also provide land for new sports fields, a play area and open space with improved footpath and cycle links.
The public consultation will run online at www.taylorwimpey.co.uk/wivenhoe from Monday 1st February until Sunday 14th February. A webinar will also be held via the website at 6pm on Monday 8th February.
