14 Oct Taylor Wimpey donates outdoor games to Half Pint Nursery
Children in Half Pint Nursery in Purleigh are enjoying the outdoors with the fun games donated by Taylor Wimpey as part of its ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities.
The housebuilder bought the games for a Platinum Jubilee celebration event at the Handley Gardens development over the summer and wanted to find them a home where they would bring plenty of joy to young children.
Half Pint Nursery is located in the village of Purleigh, just a one-minute drive from Handley Gardens development. The Handley Gardens sales team handed over the games last month and had lots of fun joining in with the children.
Elizabeth Romero, Head of Half Pint Nursery, said: “Outdoor games are really important for all of our children. They help advance the child’s problem-solving abilities and initiate creative thinking among them. They also develop social skills and it encourages listening habits when they interact with their friends. Our children are our number one priority and we are thankful for Taylor Wimpey’s donation.”
