Calling all budding mini-chefs! If you’re looking for something different this February half term, head down to Sticks’n’Sushi for an interactive, fun-filled Sushi Masterclass, designed especially for kids.
Led by passionate and skilled chefs, the hands-on classes guide hungry youngsters through the art of sushi-making, teaching them how to make the likes of kappa hosomaki rolls (cucumber), pink Alaska uramaki rolls (salmon, avocado, cream cheese and lumpfish roe) and shake nigiri (salmon) before letting them eat their own creations.
Classes are suitable for ages 8-12 years of all ability levels, with clear and thorough teaching ensuring no one is left out and all can participate. Tickets for a 90-minute class (10am – 11.30am) are priced at £40 and include soft drinks plus a goody bag to take home including a certificate, bandana, rolling mat, chopsticks, a chocolate fish, and a Japanese number and phrase sheet.
