Stephen Metcalfe MP sends his ‘thoughts and prayers’ to Boris Johnson as he tackles COVID-19 at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London.
Stephen Metcalfe said: “Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a global pandemic which represents the greatest public health crisis for a generation. It does not discriminate.
My thoughts and prayers are with Boris Johnson and his loved ones as he fights to overcome his own battle at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London.
The Prime Minister has committed the full power of the state to overcome this challenge and I know that the Government, supported by the Civil Service, are working tirelessly night and day. Combined with our collective efforts, the UK will win the fight against this invisible killer”.
Stephen Metcalfe has also launched a coronavirus information page for constituents on his website www.stephenmetcalfe.org.uk.
The coronavirus webpage pulls together a host of key information, guidance and financial assistance available for individuals and businesses from the government, local councils and community groups. The website information and links will be updated daily following any announcements.
