St. Luke’s Hospice, Basildon invites local businesses to join their new network of like-minded businesses

17 Jan St. Luke’s Hospice, Basildon invites local businesses to join their new network of like-minded businesses

St. Luke’s Hospice invites local businesses to join their new network of like-minded businesses called – The Grand Plan. The aim of the group is to inspire each other and make contacts at regular, exclusive network events to be held locally, whilst pledging to achieve an annual fundraising goal of £1,000 each for the Hospice. In addition, members also have free access to in-house health and well-being workshops for their Company’s staff held by St. Luke’s Hospice clinical professionals.

The money raised from this group will go towards the CQC rated ‘Outstanding’ care that the hospice provides to the people and families of Basildon and Thurrock.

Sarah Lindzy, Head of Information and Supportive Care Services at St. Luke’s Hospice said: “Staff welfare is an important consideration for any business. By being part of The Grand Plan, you’ll have access to our team who will host bespoke workshops in your place of work to encourage health and well-being.”
Leanne Stewart, Corporate Lead at St. Luke’s Hospice will be managing the group, and said: “We’re really excited for the launch for The Grand Plan. 2020 marks thirty years since the doors of the Hospice opened to local people, which wouldn’t have been possible without the support of local people and businesses.”
“There are so many advantages to becoming a member of The Grand Plan, including being part of a network of organisations that support their local hospice.”

The official launch of the group will be on Thursday 30 January 2020 between 4.30-6.30pm at The Magic Mushroom in Billericay, who are kindly supporting and are also members of The Grand Plan.
