14 Jul Southend United to take on the Toon Army
Southend United are pleased to announce a pre-season friendly against Championship side Newcastle United at Roots Hall.
The game, sponsored by DeVines Accountants will take place on Tuesday 26 July (7:45pm kick off) and will see Phil Brown’s side come up against former Liverpool and Real Madrid Manager, Rafa Benitez and his Toon Army.
With both sides looking to seek out their favoured first team starting eleven ahead of the start of the domestic campaign a whole host of high profile names are set to be on show in a real test for the Blues.
