SOUTHEND-ON-SEA’S SONNY GREEN NAMED AS 6/4 FAVOURITE TO WIN BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT

With the highly anticipated Britain’s Got Talent final coming to a head this Saturday, all eyes are on Southend-on-Sea father of two Sonny Green, who is the odds-on (6/4) favourite to take home the £250k grand prize, according to online bookmaker Betway.

After bringing judge KSI to tears during an emotional semi-final performance and earning Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer, the poet is now the current favourite to go all the way to the top spot.

Also putting their hat in the ring to win the prize are double golden-buzzer winner Matty Juniosa (5/1), and Jeremy Clarkson’s created group, The Hawstone Farmers Choir (5/1).

Drone display act Celestial, whose recent performance was described by Alesha Dixon as “One of the most beautiful things ever seen on this show”, is also priced up at 5/1.

Lewis Knowles, spokesperson at Betway, said:

“The finals of Britain’s Got Talent are always one of the most nail-biting episodes of reality TV competitions, as the contestants gather for one last time in a showdown to win the grand prize money.

“Sonny Green has consistently impressed throughout the competition, after a string of tear-jerking performances in both his audition and semi-final, which have greatly impressed both the judges and fans online.

“However, with Matty Juniosa, The Hawstone Farmers Choir, and Celestial all delivering standout performances in their semi-final acts, the competition is tighter than ever.

“There’s no doubt this year is shaping up to be one of the most competitive finals in the show’s history, and we can’t wait to see who will be victorious!”
