03 Jul Southend Hospital Charity to celebrate 70 years of the NHS in style
Southend Hospital Charity are inviting locals for the NHS Big 7Tea as they raise a cuppa and celebrate 70 years of the NHS on the very day it was ‘born’, Thursday 5 July.
They are hosting a charity afternoon tea at the Roslin Beach Hotel, Thorpe Bay, from 3pm – 5pm, that will also feature live music from local musician Adam Holdsworth, who is a fabulous saxophone and clarinet player.
Elise Fleetwood, Events & Corporate Relations Manager, said: “We’ve got tea, sandwiches and plenty of cake in a beautiful seafront setting. We’ve all got something to thank the NHS for, so please join us to say thank you and help raise money for the future.”
Every penny raised will benefit Southend Hospital’s For Wards Appeal, raising money for 20 projects right across the Trust. Tickets cost £21 pp and tables can be booked by calling 01702 385337 or email [email protected]
