19 Jul Sky Ropes at Great Notley Country Park is celebrating its first birthday
Sky Ropes at Great Notley Country Park is celebrating its first birthday by entering anyone who visits Sky Ropes from 27 July to 7 August into a prize draw to win a six month car parking season ticket and two Sky Ropes tickets.
Since opening in July 2015 the Sky Ropes courses, a partnership between Essex County Council and Braintree District Council, have won rave reviews and received great user feedback, helping boost the visitor numbers to Great Notley Country Park to 150,000 a year.
The two courses – Sky Ropes at over nine metres high and Sky Ropes Junior for the smaller adventurers – are open all year round and offer great, safe family fun for all ages, shapes and sizes.
Councillor Kay Twitchen, Deputy Cabinet Member for Sustainability, said: “I’m looking forward to visiting Sky Ropes to celebrate its first birthday and thank the team for their hard work in making it such a successful attraction. I hope that the school summer holidays mean lots more children and families can have an outdoor adventure on the course and enjoy the open space of Great Notley County Park.”
