14 Apr Shoppers meet Jurassic visitors at Brentwood shopping centre
The Baytree Shopping Centre had a T-Rex takeover this weekend, as a host of dino visitors appeared at the centre on Saturday.
The prehistoric beasts fascinated visitors throughout the day, coming face to face and learning all about Leaf the Brachiosaurus and her Jurassic friends Razor the giant Velociraptor, Bash the Pachycephalosaurus and Nibbles the Baby T-Rex.
A spokesperson for the Baytree Centre said, “It was great to see our big and little visitors mesmerised by being so close to the dinosaurs and finding out about their habitat and diet. Our unusual visitors were a big attraction, and we were so pleased to see so many families enjoying their time at the shopping centre”.
The Baytree Dino Day complimented the Dinosaur Trail which is being hosted by Brentwood Council to complete through the school holidays. 10 prehistoric creatures are sited across Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone in a variety of locations – eagle-eyed visitors who find them all go into a draw to win a 10″ Amazon Fire HD Pro tablet worth £199.99. Forms can be collected from the Baytree and completed entries dropped into the Dino Post Box at the centre, next to Hey Joe Music store. Entries must be received for the competition by 19th April.
