Following a huge run of success that has seen them secure two UK Number 1 albums in 2024 with A Matter Of Time and Liquid Gold, and as they celebrate 30 years of A Maximum High and their defining anthem ‘Chasing Rainbows’, Shed Seven have added further dates to their iconic winter tour, Shedcember X, after overwhelming demand.
The band’s fastest-selling tour to date has already seen nine shows sell out, with most remaining dates now down to final tickets. Nottingham’s Rock City called it one of their fastest ever sell-outs on social media, underlining the scale of fan demand.
Additional dates have now been added in Leeds and Nottingham, alongside a newly announced show at Blackburn King George’s Hall on Monday 16th November. Tickets for the Blackburn date go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 6th May, with all other additional dates on sale now.
Shedcember X is set to be their biggest and most celebratory instalment yet. Since its inception in 2007, Shedcember has grown into a cult institution and a cornerstone of the UK live calendar.
On the tour, lead singer Rick Witter says:
“We can’t wait to get out there up and down the UK and soak up what is a unique atmosphere at a Shed Seven gig…”
Each night will see the band deliver a career-spanning set packed with anthems including ‘Going For Gold’, ‘Chasing Rainbows’, ‘Disco Down’, ‘On Standby’ and ‘Talk Of The Town’, with special guests The Academic joining across all dates.
The announcement caps a huge period for the band, who have also just entered the studio to begin work on their seventh studio album.
