02 Jul Set For Life Win for Lucky Essex Man
A mystery man, known only as Mr. J from Essex, has won £10,000 a month for a year without ever touching a ticket. The lucky man was one of 10 winners who won the same life-changing prize by matching the five main numbers in the Set For Life draw on Monday 15 June.
The lucky man played online on The National Lottery website. Players can check their tickets online at www.national-lottery.co.uk or via the National Lottery App. Playing online via the website or app means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize, just like Mr. J did. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery App to check if you’re a winner.
Mr. J chose a Lucky Dip to play Set For Life, which came up trumps. He has become one of nine million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games. Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or like this winner, release some details through partial publicity.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “Huge congratulations to Mr. J for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket. After a few simple clicks he can now look forward to receiving £10,000 every month for a year – one thing is for this is for sure, it will be a year that he never forgets!”

Thanks to National Lottery players, up to £600M will be used to support the most vulnerable in communities across the UK during the coronavirus crisis. By playing The National Lottery, £30M is raised every week on average by National Lottery players for projects big and small across the country. Hundreds of millions of pounds will be distributed to charities and local voluntary organisations over the next few months to help support people through the Covid-19 crisis – from helping support food banks, to causes that combat loneliness and isolation, support for the elderly and projects that support health in the community.
