10 Apr REVIEW: We Still Steal The Old Way, dir. by Sacha Bennett
by Raj Ahmed
Following the successful introduction of We Still Kill The Old Way I was looking forward to this, We Still Steal The Old Way sees the gang in prison for robbery, with their end game being to break out their friend and mentor George Briggs
Sadly the title of stealing applies only to a fraction of the film itself but the prison break carried enough edge of the seat and drama-fuelled scenes.
With the majority of the cast back except James Cosmo, the action is actually pretty nice and the overall story is pretty entertaining to watch, with the large part of the action taking place inside a prison and after which the prison break the stealing begins. The first fifteen minutes of the film are quite slow but for those who watched WSKTOW will pick it up quickly, a tidy little action flick.
The Verdict:
4 out of 5
“A tidy little action packed brit flick”
Cast: Ian Ogilvie, Patrick Bergin, Lysette Anthony, Julian Glover, Lysette Anthony, Tanya Franks, Patrick Bergin, Billy Murray, Vas Blackwood, Sean Cronin
WE STILL STEAL THE OLD WAY is released 10th April on Digital & 17th April 2017 on DVD / Blu-ray
